My Diabetes My Way: February 2016 Update

Welcome to the My Diabetes My Way February 2016 Newsletter.

New 'Patient Goals' Feature

We are pleased to announce that we have added a new feature to My Diabetes My Way. When you log in to access your records, you now have the option to view and set 'my goals'. Setting personal goals is a good way of focusing on, and improving, specific aspects of your health. You can set goals for health measures including HbA1c, blood pressure and weight. You can then monitor your progress as you work towards reaching the goals you set. As this is a new feature, we welcome your comments on how we can improve it to make it more useful to you.

Free Book from Diabetes UK

Diabetes UK has published a new book titled '100 things I wish I'd known about living with diabetes'. This contains useful tips for everyday life, covering a range of topics from going on holiday to eating out, and managing diabetes wherever you may be. You can order your free book at the following link: https://100things.diabetes.org.uk

Diabetes UK Annual Professional Conference

Next week, the Diabetes UK Annual Professional Conference will be held at the SECC in Glasgow. This is the only event of its kind in the UK, run exclusively for healthcare professionals and scientists working in the field of diabetes. It allows the sharing of best practice, latest research and provides great opportunities to network with colleagues. My Diabetes My Way will be represented, with two presentations planned to share our experiences with colleagues. We will share an update from the conference on our news page after the event.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
