My Diabetes My Way: February 2018 Update

Welcome to the My Diabetes My Way Newsletter for February 2018.

My Diabetes My Way Redesign Launch
On 6th February 2018, My Diabetes My Way officially launched its newly redesigned and updated website. The service has been running in Scotland since October 2008, and work has been completed over the last few months to update the site to have a more modern look, while providing improved support for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. You can still find all of the information that was previously available on the website, but it should now be much easier to access and review across all platforms.

We are still working on several improvements and enhancements and would very much welcome your feedback (good or bad!) on what you think of the new design or to let us know of any problems you have experienced. You can contact us by submitting website feedback, or by emailing mydiabetesmyway@nhs.net

2018 will be a busy year as we continue working on a number of new features. These include the development of a dedicated mobile App, links to new devices such as activity and glucose monitors and online consultations with your healthcare team. More news will follow over the coming weeks.

Eye Health
The Diabetes UK charity has joined forces with the Royal National Institute for the Blind in Scotland to raise awareness of diabetic eye disease (retinopathy). If detected early through retinopathy screening, eye changes can be successfully treated. Always attend your scheduled Diabetic Retinopathy Screening (DRS) or Ophthalmology appointments:

Stay informed when it comes to your eye health by using My Diabetes My Way to access your eye screening dates and results. For more information about Eye Screening, follow the links below:
