10,000 Active Users
Last week, on Tuesday 23rd August, My Diabetes My Way reached a milestone of 10,000 users logging in to access their diabetes records. This is a fantastic achievement and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to us reaching this total. Having a large, active, user-base is essential for us to maintain continued funding for the service and this level of user activity will certainly help us achieve it.

Looking After Your Eyes
In this month’s newsletter we are talking about eye health. There are 7 key steps to maintain good eye health and reduce your risk of diabetes eye complications:
- 1. Never miss your eye screening appointments
- 2. Keep blood glucose levels to target
- 3. Have regular Blood Pressure checks
- 4. Make sure your cholesterol level is not too high
- 5. If you are a smoker then STOP
- 6. Exercise regularly
- 7. Eat a healthy balanced diet.
